pride

For Target’s Pride 2023 campaign, we had the good fortune of working with two incredible queer-owned small businesses, telling real stories about how their brands have made an impact.

Most of the work done in advertising goes out into the world, then we move on to the next brief, never stopping to understand the reception of said work in the outside world. With this project, the reception became the most important thing. Unfortunately, this work was received less than favorably by a small group of very loud people. Despite meeting a cruel fate, I am proud of the boundaries we pushed with this work, both ideologically and artistically.
