what we value, shouldn't cost more
“What We Value Shouldn’t Cost More” is more than a tagline—it’s a platform that reflects Target’s core belief: that great design, quality, and care shouldn’t come with a premium price tag. Whether it’s beautiful home décor, swimsuits that help you feel confident, or everyday products that are safe for your family, Target is committed to making it all accessible. This platform reinforces the idea that affordability doesn’t mean compromise—on style, on safety, or on values.a

pride
For Target’s Pride 2023 campaign, we had the good fortune of working with two incredible queer-owned small businesses, telling real stories about how their brands have made an impact.
Most of the work done in advertising goes out into the world, then we move on to the next brief, never stopping to understand the reception of said work in the outside world. With this project, the reception became the most important thing. Unfortunately, this work was received less than favorably by a small group of very loud people. Despite meeting a cruel fate, I am proud of the boundaries we pushed with this work, both ideologically and artistically.
Ash + Chess is a stationery & gift company run by queer and trans couple Ashley Molesso (she/her) and Chess Needham (he/him), based out of Kingston, NY. They create greeting cards, art prints and more in bold, retro color palettes, often using their artwork to uplift the queer community.
JZD is a queer Latina owned lifestyle brand, founded by Jen & Vero Zeano, specializing in Latina empowerment apparel. By mixing Spanish language and phrases in with queer positive sentiment, the brand aims to create space and build a confident beautiful community.
